With the sessions plugin you are able to start a session, end a session, and vote for a session along with multiple other commands. Boomerang allows you to enhance your server management with sessions.

Sessions Configuration

  1. Enable the sessions plugin by running /config > "Configure Plugin" > "Sessions" and then enable the sessions plugin.
  2. Go to the sessions configuration embed by running /config > "Sessions" and then click on the setting option you’d like to configure.

Sessions ChannelThis is the channel that the session embeds will be sent to.
Sessions RoleThis is the role that is allowed to run all the session commands.
Server CodeThis is the code of the ER:LC server which will be displayed when a session starts and be used for buttons.
Sessions PingThis will be the role that Boomerang will ping when running /session start.
Vote PingThis will be the role that Boomerang will ping when running /session vote.
Boost PingThis will be the role that Boomerang will ping when running /session boost.
  1. The changes you have configured will automatically change without you needing to confirm any changes.

Customise Embed

If you’d like to create a customisable session embed you are able to do so using Boomerang. Be sure to follow each step carefully and make sure you have configured the sessions plugin correctly before doing this. Click here for the variable reference.

  1. Run the /config command and find the “Configure Session” option.
  2. Click on last dropdown and customise the embed to your liking.

Session Commands

These are the other session related commands that your configured session roles or management roles can use.

Only people with the Management or Session Role permissions configured via the /config command can access the session commands.

/session voteThis command will send an embed with two buttons where your members can vote for a session. You are able to set how many votes are required.
/session startThis command will send an embed to your sessions channel, ping the voters, and ping the role you configured.
/session boostThis command will send an embed to your sessions channel along with a role mention saying the server is low on players.
/session shutdownThis command will send an embed to your sessions channel saying the server shutdown.
/session fullThis command will say that the server is full and has reached 39/39 players.
