Departments

Boomerang offers the ability for server owners to link a department server to their main server. This allows your server management to kick, ban, and change the nickname of someone in the department server.
Department Linking Configuration
- Enable the department linking plugin by running
/config > "Configure Plugins"
and then enable the department linking plugin. - Go to the department linking embed by running
/config > "Configure Departments"
and then click on the setting option you’d like to configure.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Add Server | This will link your department server with your main server and give you access to the department commands. You must provide the server ID of the department server. |
Remove Server | This wil unlink your department server from your main server and remove the access of the department commands. You must provide the server ID of the department server. |
- The changes you have configured will automatically change without you needing to confirm any changes.
The department server must have purchased Boomerang normally and the server owner must own both of the servers. Only the server owner can configure this plugin.
Department Linking Commands
Command | Description |
---|---|
/department ban | This will ban a user from the department server that you picked. |
/department kick | This will kick a user from the department server that you picked. |
/department nick | This will change the nickname of a user in the department server that you picked. |
Department Guilds
Each server booster is entitled to two department guilds, which can be managed using the /department manage
command. These slots are exclusively for the department plugin, with all other Boomerang features disabled. Upon boosting the support server, two department slots will be automatically added to your account for the duration of your boost.
